Inspiration From Sue

Welcome to Inspiration From Sue Antiques and Interiors! My business is named in memory of my sister, Sue Rainey Pruitt. She was instrumental in getting me interested in antiques over forty years ago. It was our intention for me to join her in the antique business after I retired from teaching. Unfortunately, I lost her in an automobile accident two years before I retired, but I decided that I would continue our dream on my own, knowing that she would always inspire me.

Here you will find a wonderful collection of antique furniture, as well as painted and reproduction selections. Choose from sideboards, secretaries, hutches, tables, and bookcases. You will also find antique, vintage and new home décor. Featured items are the blue and white porcelain reproduction pieces. These special pieces are hand thrown, hand painted and fired just as they were hundreds of years ago. You get a wonderful sophisticated designer look at a fraction of the cost! And another of my favorite décor items are the Staffordshire Dogs. These exquisite ceramic figurines originated in Staffordshire England to be displayed on fireplace mantels during the Victorian Era and are favored by many collectors.
